Customize woocommerce single-product.php for genesis

Hello,

Im using a genesis child theme along with the genesis connect for woocommerce plugin.

I would like to customize the single-product.php template.
What I would like to have is something like this:

The product page is divided into 2 sections:

    <div id="product-left"></div>
    <div id="product-right"></div>?

Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to add this to my single-product.php so I can style these elements individually.
