Customized iNove Theme for Download — 200px Header

  • Like iNove, but want a little bit taller header to hold your own logos, images, ect?

    I’ve customized the iNove theme — Version 1.2.2 — to increase the header height from 132px to 200px. You can see it at the following link and download the changed files to customize your own copy of iNove. I’ve also included two psd files so that you can incorporate your own logos, images, text, etc., in the default header and the single column header.

    Excuse me, but I edited my style.css and there was no effect.

    What did you edit and what were you trying to accomplish? If you use the style.css I provided in the download, then you don’t need to edit anything…just replace yours with the one in the download.

    I was interested to know how you edited your header. Is that an image and not an adjustment of code?

    I apologize in advance if the answer is obvious. I’m on day one of doing this and I’m a little overwhelmed.

    It’s both. You would need to visit the link I provided in the first post in this thread, download the zip file, and replace the default images/files with the ones in that zip. To customize your header, open the psd files and edit to to your liking.

    Well, i have done this with lot of ease. All you need to do is edit the header_footer.jpg file and change css file for width. I have 1020px wide instead of regular 936px.

    Curious as to what you changed in the style.css to lower the menu bar on the header? I’ve been trying to figure that out but am having a hard time.
