    Hi there,

Thanks for the plugin, it’s pretty sweet! Is it currently possible to override or customize any of the plugin templates? It doesn’t look like it from what I can see, and I don’t want to modify core files and lose my changes next time I update. It would be great if you don’t already have this functionality, to implement it in an upcoming release. There are lots of resources out there on how to do this in WordPress plugins, and I’d be happy to assist in any way I can.

    Regards,
    Jonah

    Hi Jonah,

Thank you for your nice words!
At this moment it’s not possible to override or customize current templates. Which template/page in particular do you wish to customize?

We will introduce some shortcodes in our next release which gives you the ability to put the registration or login form for your webinar in your own page, using your own styling.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

    Regards,
    Lucy

    Hi Lucy,

Thanks for the reply! In specific it would be great to be able to customize the email templates in /wp-content/plugins/wp-webinarsystem/includes/templates, and all the tmp-*.php files in /wp-content/plugins/wp-webinarsystem/includes

Shortcodes will help, but won’t provide quite as much customization as some will want. This article provides some great information and examples on how you could setup customizable templates within the plugin. I hope that helps but let me know if you’d like any other information or help!

    Regards,
    Jonah
