customize.php not loading a site preview.
-
I’m using a fairly old free hosting service, and I don’t have proper FTP access to the site (I also can’t afford paid hosting at the moment, and nor can I afford to pay the £11 WordPress wants for domain mapping.)
So I had to upload WordPress via the hosts native file manager (which can only upload 20 files at once, and not folders) so I had to reconstruct the WordPress folder system to get it to work.
The install went fine, and I’m able to install and remove themes fine, but when it comes to customizing those themes it just gives me a blank grey area. Image
I noticed there were a couple of topics with a similar issue, but none of the things suggested there worked, and contacting the host is virtually impossible.
I know the situation is far from ideal, and it might just be best to change hosts (if anyone can suggest any free ones beyond x10hosting (which I already have another site with) then that would be useful too) but if anyone has any suggestions, that would be great!
Edit: I should also probably mention I’ve tried with both Opera and Google Chrome and the current site address is infinity.bugs3.com (I still need to get my proper domain set up.)
