Customizer:” Colors & Backgrounds” disappeared

  • Hello there,

    the option ?colors & backgrounds“ is no more shown in the customizer. What is wrong?

    Note: I use the Plugin “Styleguide – Custom Fonts and Colors“ in order to customize fonts. That works for the fonts — color customizing is not suitable for boardwalk theme. This plugin appears in the Themes customizer. Maybe that conflicts with the built-in theme-option for customizing colors?

  • Hi there,

    I did not see you mention it, but do you have the Jetpack plugin installed and activated on your site? It can be the case that some customizer options are powered by that plugin, so you will not see those options if it has been deactivated.
