Customizer error message

  • Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home1/unique/public_html/uniqueartchic.com/wp-content/themes/gridsby/inc/customizer.php on line 1068

    Im getting this error message when trying to use the customizer on the home page widgets. It won’t allow me to make any changes and save. Please can you advise how to fix this.

    I have managed to make the changes I needed by going into dashboard – widget and doing it from there.
    Does this suggest there’s a problem with the customizer?

    This error was a result of the most recent release of WordPress. We sent out theme updates shortly after which should resolve this issue.

    Please make sure your theme and WordPress install are completely up to date and you should be fine.
