• Hello there,

I have an issue with the OceanWP Customizer: as soon as I activate the Typography control, the Customizer is freezing, unable to do nothing on the page.

If I deactivate the Typography control (in the OceanWP settings), my Customizer works fine.

I’m using Elementor and basic plugins, I don’t know what’s going wrong, if you have any ideas to help.

    Thanks, best regards,

    Mathias

  • Hello @mathclav,

?We have not received any similar reports so far, and we cannot reproduce it on our end. However, it seems it’s a plugin conflict on your end or related to the host resources.

For troubleshooting, please do the following steps and let me know the results:

    0. Enable the primary theme(if you are using a child theme).
    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    2. Deactivate all plugins.
    3. Then, first, activate the Ocean Extra plugin.
    4. Check your issue.
    5. Then, activate your plugins one by one
    6. After activation of any plugins, check your issue

Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on the staging website/or on a fresh installation.

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).

Note 3: Sometimes, it may be due to resource consumption in the host. Please check the host configuration so that the resources are compatible with your website, you can contact your host provider to check the resources.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply and instructions.

Today it works, I tried your steps, but no plugins involved.

The issue seems to come from the language of my website. It was in French, then I moved to English to follow your instructions, and it solved the issue, the Customizer opens good!
