It was suggested to use the Adsense Ad version for Google ads, but the customizer is still not showing. You can only see it at the very top and you have to scroll.

Manual ads or Adsense Ad versions both show the same effect. I did cache.

    Hi tammya1999,

    thanks for reaching out.

Did you place any AdSense ads manually or not using the “AdSense” ad type in Advanced Ads?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I’ve tried both ways. Manually and AdSense Ad version.

Thanks. Could I ask you to post a link to an affected page?

Thank you. I hoped I found some indicators of whether these are using Advanced Ads or not, but none of them show anything. Could you disable the ad placements one by one to find maybe the one that doesn’t work? I know that not all ad types cause this and believe that only responsive display ads do, if that helps.

If you found the culprit then please double-check that it uses the Advanced Ads “AdSense”.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I deleted any Google Ad in the sidebar, no change. I turned off the one below my content, no change and that one is responsive. The one above my header is coded in a widget, but when I removed the code, no change. The rest of the “ads” I am using is only text that I want to come upon certain posts.

So no changes after turning off the ads. I did clear cache.

Thanks for testing it. If I understand correctly then there is no ad and the issue persists, right?

Did you also disable the Auto ads option under Advanced Ads > Settings > AdSense, if it was enabled?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I disabled the plugin itself and nothing changed.

Thank you. This means that there still must be an AdSense ad managed without Advanced Ads on your site. Maybe in a Custom HTML widget?

    Thanks

Yes. I have 2 of them but I turned them off too.

Is everything turned off right now? I am still seeing ads on your site.

    Thanks

No, they are back on now. I had turned off all the ads on my site and turned off the plugin but there still was a problem.

Since you turned off the plugin and the problem persisted, the issue is likely not related to Advanced Ads. What made you think that it was when you started this thread?

    Thanks,
    Thomas

I recently just switched to Advanced ads (from AdRotate plugin) and at first the customizer still did not work – when placing the Adsense code itself into a code type ad.

However when I switched to the dedicated Adsense type ad (via the connection to Google) then the customiser is now working fine so thumbs up from me.

Thank you, @voodoochill. Would you mind saying it here?
