Customizer not working after updating to 5.8

Forget about it, there was a new them version released and my issue have been resolved.

I have the same problem, but I also had an Astra theme update, but unfortunately my problem was not solved.

I also managed to resolve it by updating the theme.

I am with wast WP ver.
With wast php ver.
With last verison on Astra and Astra pro.

what updates have you loaded. i have loaded all available updates, but unfortunately i still get the error.

My setup:
– Theme Astra 3.6.5
– Astra Pro 3.5.4
– wordpress 5.8
– Elementor Pro 3.3.4

I have several site with the same setup unfortunately and it’s the same everywhere.

Please use at least PHP v7.4. If using PHP v7.4 doesn’t fix the issue, please try reinstalling the Astra theme.

Hi, I have the same problem. Recently updated WP to 5.8 and customizer stopped working.

Updated Astra from Themes and now I have the Critical error message on WP and my website down.

I’m currently using PHP v7.4 FPM, should I move to “PHP” only version?

Hi all. I’m going to close this thread, and here’s why:
Although the symptom is the same “xxx not working after update to yyy”, the underlying reason (which in most cases is “conflict between aaa and bbb”, where aaa and bbb can be any theme/plugin/PHP version/whatever) can be totally different for everyone. Therefore: instead of posting a “I have the same problem – Please help” in this thread, please create your own thread where someone will try to guide you through your troubleshooting.
