Customizer/widgets/ shows nothing

I’m trying to add widgets to footers, yet in customizer no footers showup.
Footers and footer widgets are enabled on the page, yet, nothing shows up in customizer.
The message says: Your theme has 7 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.

I can’t display any of the 4 footers in the customizer. I can see footer in Appearance, next to widgets. I can add widgets to the footers in the appearance page. I can’t see the footers in customizer.
