This was asked further back in the support field but not answered.

Are there some simple ways to customize the colours of what’s there? Event just the comment text itself? I figure there’s a way to do it with CSS, and probably the field in the plug-in settings with the lead in “with a CSS class of” is likely meant for this, but there doesn’t appear to be any support material on how to use this field.

    Thanks!!

  • Jamos – some CSS can be edited but Facebook tend to change this from time to time and therefore cannot support it within the plugin. However, I’d suggest against this and instead leave the styling as-is, using either the light or dark theme Facebook offer to you. The CSS class offered in the plugin is merely so people can style the element that the comments sit in.

Thanks for checking in! I’m so blind, I missed the light and dark option despite scouring the settings for a way to change the look. That’s actually sufficient for me.

    Thanks for the help! DERP!
