• Hi there!

Is there a best-practices alternative to using Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS?

Adding my custom CSS code to the style.css file does not work (it does work if I add it in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS).

If a child theme is the best-practices methods, is there a template or documentation for creating a child theme for the Go theme?

Thanks so much for a great theme!

  • Hi @victorkane,

The best practice suggests that you add the custom CSS in the Additional CSS section in the Theme Customizer.

Whether you are adding the CSS through style.css or Additional CSS, it is good to be consistent and add all of the CSS in one place. That way, you can easily keep track of the changes you make, therefore, if anything undesired happens, you will find the CSS code that might’ve caused the issue with ease.

    Best Regards,
    Pavle
