Customizing header area. Slider on homepage and picture on other page

    Hello,

    I have a problem with customizing my header area.
    I have nivo slider plug-in but I tried also with meta slider.

    The problem is that I would like to have banner type – nivo Slider on the homepage and banner type – Header image on the other page. I have also WP Display Header but still cannot solve this problem.

    Everytime I change banner type it changes on either homepage as well as other pages.

    Hello there,

    This can be done using the Nivo Slider.
    You can setup a banner type slider on every page just as you want.
    Make sure that you create a new slider for every page (if you don’t want to use the same set of slides) and paste the short code in the text editor.
    Check the detailed video below to guide you.

    Thank for quick answer.

    Unfortunately it still does not work.

    Here is what I did:
    * made 2 different nivosliders (A and B)
    * choose banner type as a nivo slider
    * paste nivoslider (A) short code on one page and other (B) on customize panel (for homepage)

    The effect was: I had nivoslider (B) on homepage and the same nivoslider (B) on the other page, plus nivoslider (A) not in the header but in the text area.

    I would like to have nivoslider on homepage and header image on other page.
    Is it possible?

    Hello there,

    Just to clarify, you want the banner type slider on the homepage only, and then header on to the other pages (one full image only, no slides).
    If yes, its possible.
    You need to check the tickbox Show the banner only on the homepage? in the Customizer so the slider wont appear in other pages.

    For the other pages that needs to have a header, you have a few options here:

      – use Nivo slider with one image only (make sure to adjust the settings)
      – add a page > Add Media for the image, template set to Full Width
      – add a page and edit it with plugins like Elementor (or similar to that)

    Thank you for helping.

    There is still not what I expect.
    From your instruction everything is fine, besides the header on the page is in the “text” area, and I would like to have it in the banner area. Furthermore I would like to have that “sliding banner effect” which work in amadeus image banner type.

    Sorry if there is any confusion, but I hope you know what I mean.

    Unfortunately there is no page buildier plug in which would allow me to change banner area.
