Hey guys! Currently when posting to Facebook there is an advanced option to override how Facebook fills the link info, allowing you to “set your own format” which allowed me to fully customize where info appears on the Facebook post.

Right now with Google+, the post pulls Excerpt the same way Facebook does before the override, but there is no override for Google+; so while I can control what date is pulled into the message text, I cannot control what is pulled into the link info text.

Any future options to allow this?

It’s not up to us. Facebook allows user to customize almost anything, Google does that all by itself. There is no override for Google+

Just setup your OG tags correctly, Google takes it’s info from them.
