Customizing title in audio player

    Is there a way to customize the title that appears in the PowerPress audio player? Right now it shows the title of the podcast for all channels — we’d like to be able to indicate which are the full episodes and which are the segments.

    (I see there’s a “title” tag in the shortcode, but it only seems to work for powerpress_subscribe, not the regular powerpress shortcode.)

    Hi nulldogmas,

    You can’t change the title on the Blubrry Audio Player thru shortcodes. The title of the player by default will always be the show title. The only way to have the Blubrry Audio Player show episode titles is to use the individual-episode embed codes available in the Manage Episodes section of your Blubrry.com dashboard. You would have to manually add each embed code to your WordPress site. There’s no way to do it automatically.
