    Good morning everyone,

    how do I customize the plugin in a way that I won’t get to change or tamper with it’s core functionalities?.. are their suggestive structures on how to do it properly so that it can go smoothly?.. because what my client was asking for is a “Request a Quote” for that product where it is focus on rentals and not selling products.

    you’re help would be gladly appreciated.. Thank you in advance.

  • Hi,

    Did you get anywhere with this? I’m looking for something similar?

    thanks

    FYI, there are at least two plugins available for woocommerce that change the “add to cart” button to an “email for inquiry” button. Just do a search for woocommerce from the WP plugins page and they’ll be in the results list somewhere.

    If you have just simple products with no variations one of these might work for you.

    If you do have some type of product variations and want the buyer selections to be included in the request for quote, you’ll need a different solution. I am working on one of those now. It does involve custom code but it is done via existing hooks and filters so no core code changes are necessary.

    yeah, I did landed on something. I added the functionality myself to woocommerce. well thank you for saying that there was an email inquiry feature.. I’ll try looking on that.. and so should the second user if things won’t work the way I did it.

    kchayka, my site will be having variable products, did you manage to come up with something for that? If you have I would very much like to hear more about it. ??

    let me know thanks.
