• Hi,

I’ve updated the Customizr theme from version 3.2.17 to 3.4.37 Everything looks in order except the slider underneath the header. The transition is currently set on 3 sec (3000 ms).

    – The first slide will go over to the second slide, but then it takes up to roughly 30 seconds or more to go to the next slide.
    – Then some slides don’t go to the next one at all
    – If I click on the arrow, it will go to the next or previous slide. Though I can’t click on the arrow two times in a row. I have to move my mouse away from the slider, and back to be able to click.
    – When it does slide the transitions is no longer smooth, and the images change very abrupt.

I am using a child theme, but the code in there is pretty much all for woocommerce.

See website for example of behaviour https://elizabethreyes.com

I have tried changing the time, cleared caches (of website, and browser), turned off all plugins, changed order of the images etc.

    Can someone please help me?

  • Hi,

I am unable to replicate your issue.
Please check for plugin conflict using the following steps.

    1) If you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.

    2) Proceed to disable one plugin at a time, clear browser history and re-visit your slider. Check if it’s working properly.

Do this until you find the plugin that’s causing this issue, please replace with an alternative plugin.

    Thank you

My slider stopped working as well and I’m unable to get it to to work. I’ve disabled all the plugin’s but that doesn’t seem to solve the issue.

    Any other suggestions?

I discovered it was the plugin Easy Bootstrap Shortcode, but I don’t understand why. It worked perfectly before, and now it’s giving trouble. I tried installing another Bootstrap shortcode plugin, but it seems that importing the bootstrap library is what giving the problem. Because I also tried a plugin that just makes it easy to place the shortcodes, but doesn’t import the bootstrap library, and then everything was working fine. Except I need that library.

I tried disabling ALL my plugin’s and still my slider is not working.

Hi my slider on the front page (home) is not working. Also, do you know how I remove that static photo(of Venice) below the 3 pinned posts? I had used Elementor PHS builder but can’t seem to find it on that page builder.

Sinds the wordpress update the slider don’t work anymore. I have disable all plug-ins but is still not working. Can someone help me? Page https://www.villawaldruch.nl

    Hi everyone,

I see that I’m not the only one having this slider issue!

I have opened a thread few days ago about this problem, and the only suggestion I had is to disable my plugins because Denzel thought it was just a conflict with one of my plugins.

In fact it is absolutely not a plugin conflict as I had removed all plugins, but I was still having the exact same issue with the slider!

Has anyone tried to REINSTALL this wordpress site? I think I may try soon but I fear losing the 100 or so pages of data that I have. It’s that or get a new site going and hope it doesn’t screw up the 100 or so pages.

    Hello,

I had problems with Java from a Bookings plugin. You see the discription below.
Probably you are having some JavaScript error. Or its can be because of conflict with Bootstrap library. Booking Calendar is using Bootstrap library 3.3.5

Please note in Booking Calendar you can set loading of JavaScript files of Booking Calendar only on specific page(s) where you inserted the booking form(s), so in this case plugin will not load own JS files at all pages and only on specific, and its can resolve your conflict issue.
But probably issue still will be at the page(s) with booking form(s).

Here is description how to configure it.
Please open the Booking > Settings General page and in Advanced section click on “Show advanced settings of JavaScript loading” then make activated this option “Load JS and CSS files only on specific pages” after this in textarea “Relative URLs of pages, where to load plugin CSS and JS files” enter relative url of your pages with booking form, where you need to load the Booking Calendar JavaScript files.
    For example: /booking-form/
if you have booking form at the page: https://your-website.com/booking-form/

You can check overview of different Booking Calendar versions at this page: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/overview/

Also you can test live demos https://wpbookingcalendar.com/demo/ to be sure in functionality and do not have misunderstanding.

    I hope this wil help

    Greetings Jos
