    Hello all,
I made a website using the Customizr theme. It looks great, but I found it to be extremely slow loading, even on the backend in the Dashboard.
I have the Total Cache plugin installed. Google says my server response time is slow and I should “Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content”.

How do I do that? Please help!

  • The slowest thing is those large slider images. You can optimize them in a photo editing app by reducing image quality to about 55% without any visible impact.
The “render blocking” issue might be a script that sits after the </head> tag but before the <body> tag in no man’s land. Not sure how you got that there?

Thank You webbrewers. Apparently the “render blocking javascripts” are mentioned in a lot of WordPress websites by Googe pagespeed analysis, so I am not the only one. I will give the slider image reduction a shot.

    logo image remove.
    all plug-in deactivate.

all image file make more than small.

    good luck to you!~

    Thanks Tion.
I actually got this site going really fast by switching over to Dreamhost Dreampress hosting. Its loading just fine now.
