CSV export mess up :(

  • Hi,

    I’ve used this plugin for an annual event and first two years were just perfect.

    Trying to do it again this year and when users submit info I receive a mess on my CSV export.

    All headings come in ONE cell, and the relevant data submitted are grouped in ONE cell too. So far I have 3 cells with everything in them.

    I am confused.

    I thought it was the problem with the recent version, I’ve reverted to older versions, still the same problem ??

    Any explanation?

    The problem is most likely happening when you import the CSV into your spreadsheet. Take a look at the CSV in a plain text editor to verify that the format is correct. When you open the CSV in your spreadheet app, it is necessary to set up the import so that the delimiter is “comma” and the enclosure is “double quote”

    Everything is fine as far as the plain text reads. I just download the CSV and open it with Microsoft Excel and that’s how it all turns out a mess.

    I tried using the CSV Viewer from csvviewer.com everything is perfect.

    I guess there’s a problem with Microsoft Excel 2013 or something.
