cybersyn disable post footer in excerpt

Thanks for heads up! There was a bug in the “Disable post footers in excerpt” option. It’s fixed in CyberSyn 5.16. Please make sure to update your copy of the plugin and… don’t forget to rate it ??

Hello is there a way to disable the excerpt autoposting? i cant find the option, i post it here because i think is related

Hmm.. I could add such a feature, but I don’t see if it can be really useful, because most of modern themes allow to disable excerpt output.

i Just need the pluggin to leave the excerpt empty so the post dont post some images and text twice in the blog, i tried to disable excerpts but then the blog displays a full post, the only way to get the excerpt empty is cleaning it by miself in every post and that take a lot of my time and also i need to review all posts

The requested feature has been implemented in CyberSyn 5.17. Now you can shorten the post excerpts by max number of words, or completely remove them.

My friend im sorry to bother you again but i got another issue, the update work like a charm the issue now is that the excerpt shows pictures no text but pictures is there a way to avoid that? so the excerpt is empty to avoid the image showing twice ( one for the thumnail and other time by the excerpt)

Before to shorten excerpts, the script removes all HTML tags from them. Are you sure there are images ( tags) in the excerpts or maybe those are post thumbnails? Please email me with an access to your WP control panel – I’ll take a look what’s going on there: cyberseo@cyberseo.net

After looking at your feed settings I see the cause. This happens because you are inserting image attachments into the posts/excerpts. The CyberSyn deletes the excerpts but it assumes that the images should be attached anyway. Yes, that’s not right, so I have change the plugin’s behavior in version 5.18.
