    it works but is dependent on PHP/PCRE version. See @http://stackoverflow.com/questions/5458396/php-case-insensitive-preg-replace-of-a-cyrillic-string-in-utf8. If the text is not in UTF-8 or environment doesn’t fully support it (case insensitivity for cyrillic characters), then it will work but case-sensitive.
