Hey guys, seriously the passive voice for Czech language is not working.

Ex. which was marked by Yoast as a passive voice but is a false positive:
To, ?e nějaká strategie funguje podobné firmě, je?tě neznamená, ?e ta stejná marketingová strategie bude fungovat i nám.

Jakmile toto máme vy?e?eno, musíme mít jistotu, ?e to jsme schopni sdělit i potenciálním zákazník?m.

I kdy? dvě z těchto t?í věcí uděláme nejlépe na světě, sta?í udělat chybu ve t?etí věci a marketingová strategie nebude fungovat.

So the readability analysis is prty much useless as it is skewed by red passive voice dot.

Btw SEO analysis weird as well. We have declensions, you seem not to recognize them when analyzing the content. I would think that Google is smart enough to know that ‘strategie on-line marketingu’ and ‘strategií on-line marketingu’ is the same KW, not Yoast. I understand that it is not easy to do it in such an obscure language as Czech, like I mean it, but maybe than to do it wrong, better not to do it at all? Or at least allow us to mark it as false positive? The dots are perfect to know which content to fix but if I go over my content and most of the orange or red dots are false positive, they have zero value for me.

    cheers Filip

    Hi @hvizdal

We understand you have some concerns regarding the passive voice assessment in the Czech language.

Just to clarify, are you adding your content with the default WordPress block editor? Or are you using a third-party page builder or custom theme box to add your content?

Also, could you check and confirm if you are using the latest version of Yoast SEO 18.0?

As per this article, the passive voice check should be available in the Czech language.

Hello, yes I am using version 18. And WP default block editor. The problem isn’t that the control is not available, just that there are many false positives.

Take this: “Of course, as a PPC agency, we do not reject paid advertising, but the fact is that if we look at the invested funds and time, PPC advertising would not even reach the TOP3 in the case of our company.”

in EN it is fine, in CZ flagged as passive voice. Why? The same for ”
You will either have to make up for it with the number and frequency of posts, or pay for the promotion of some posts.”

sorry, not working as intended. can’t talk for other users, personally I would prefer to remove passive voice detection for CZ if it is not working.
