d13 Gallery plugin troubles

I started a test blog and used the d13 Gallery plug with lightbox2. Everything worked wonderfully. I then, after knowing what I was doing, rebuild the blog in the place I wanted it to permanently reside. This time it won’t work. I’m not sure why. I’ve upgraded the plugin to the latest release. I’ve tried all manner of syntax, and all manner of image files and formattings. It doesn’t SEEM to be something I am doing (but quite possibly is). I am not getting an error or anything. It just acts like I never put in the gallery tag. Might anyone have some clue as to why this might be giving me so much trouble?
