Dad jokes not showing

Hello! Congrats on your initial release!

Unfortunately, I have the misfortune of reporting that when I tried adding a dad joke to my blog, nothing showed up. I wanted to just add a random dad joke in the sidebar or footer whenever you load the page without requiring manual interaction, but adding the shortcode just added a “Get new dad joke” button that didn’t do anything when clicked.

I’m hoping that when the plugin is completely ready, it’ll lazy load the dad joke or have a local cache; that way, my entire site doesn’t wait to load until my server makes a web request to a third-party site.

I can’t wait to see what happens to this plugin moving forward!
