• After installing the BPES plugin and setting groups to receive weekly digests, nothing is being added to the weekly digest queue when I test it. I have activities activated. I’m not sure what to do to get it to work. Any suggestions?

    How are you testing? Are you looking at /?sum=1 and not seeing anything? Or are you simply not receiving the emails? Knowing which of these is the case could help to narrow down the potential issues.

    I am looking at /?sum=1 and not seeing anything but the titles “Daily Digest” and “Weekly Digest”. Nothing is listed under the titles.

    If you have access to a database tool like phpMyAdmin, check to see whether the tables wp_bpges_queued_items and wp_bpges_subscriptions exist.

    I have set it to ALL MAIL and it still doesn’t work. Would you be able to take a look at the site if I gave you the login?

    Sorry to reply so late. I looked in phpMyAdmin and the files wp_bpges_queued_items and wp_bpges_subscriptions do not exist in the database. What do you suggest I do? Thank you for your help!

    Do you see an admin notice with the text “Some BuddyPress Group Email Subscription migration tasks have not successfully completed…”?

    Visit Dashboard > Settings > BP Group Email Options. Do you see a “Migration Status” section? If there’s a “Manually trigger the migration process” link there, click it and wait a few minutes to see if the tables are created.

    If not, I can investigate further to come up with a method that will allow you to trigger the creation process.

    Hi Boone, Thanks for getting back to me. Since I last posted, I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. Now the digest shows the queued list of items to send out weekly. However, it was set up to go out on Tuesdays but the queued list didn’t go out. Is there something I need to do to make sure they go out?
