Daily office reading plan isn’t working

Does Elementor have a shortcode block, or just a code block?

If the former, then I recommend using a shortcode block.

If the latter, perhaps you could use the WordPress default editor, instead of Elementor, for this particular page.

Let me know either way.

Looking back at this again I note that you are using ” (right double quotation mark) instead of ” (double quotation mark).

The shortcode should be:
[bible-reading-plan reading_plan="bcp19-acna-twoyear" source="ESV" version="ESV"] not:
[bible-reading-plan reading_plan=”bcp19-acna-twoyear” source=”ESV” version=”ESV”]

A very subtle, but most important, difference — which I now very much suspect is the real problem.

Thanks for the response! I copied the code in a WordPress shortcode block but I’m still getting the same result with the mcheyne reading plan.

Oh it looks like I figured out the issue. If I delete version=”ESV” it gives me the proper reading plan.

hmm. It looks like it went back to the other reading plan. Is there a reason why it would only be temporarily the common book of prayer plan?

I just checked out https://habitsofgrace.org/. I got the Book of Common Prayer plan.

Perhaps your browser or your web hosting service has the other plan cached?
