• So, Jeremy, I’m an idiot, even if I do have a contributors’ badge on this forum.

I think this would be a great plugin if I could get it working. I’m having trouble figuring out its initial setup, as this client’s site doesn’t use categories. Can this plug display quotes without them? If no, then any tips for how to display quotes, ie, build a category that’s for the quotes only? Sorry, but, like I said, I’m an idiot. If it’s helpful, I’m running WordPress 5.83, Weaver Xtreme v 5, an 8gb vps w/Nginx as webserver & Ubuntu 20.04 as the OS, PHP v7.4.

    BTW, just curious–what is %break%?

This is great work, btw. I use a screen reader due to sight impairment, & this plugin is amazingly accessible. Thank you for that! There are more sight-impaired authors out there than most folks realized, & I’ll definitively be recommending it to my friends if I can get it up & running.

You may try selecting all categories. If that does not work for you simply use the shortcode method which will display anywhere. This is assuming you have enabled shortcodes. You may always turn them on if not already.

%break% is just another method for separating daily content. By default all daily content is separated by an enter/return. However there are cases where you may want to use enter so you need to use something else for the different content, like say %break%.

The plugin supports any custom separator you may wish to you use as long as you set it.

Hopefully that sheds some light on things.

Thanks for the quick reply, Jeremy. I’ll play w/this & get back. Shortcodes definitively enabled.
