As mentioned in a previous post Complianz falsely detects Dailymotion on every single website where I install your plugin, see here:
    https://prnt.sc/tn3wuu
Is there a way you can look into this?
Should I just delete this row of cookies then?
And what about the Facebook cookies in this case? To my knowledge we have no FB installed at all and the many red crosses with missing info indicate that this is probably another false positive.
So just delete this row completely as well?
Not sure if this still guarantees GDPR compliance then if those unknown cookies are still placed with the user.
    Thanks for your support.

    Hi @tomkelly33,

Please allow me to provide you with a little background on the Complianz website scan. It scans your site from your browser, looking for first-party cookies, local storage and session storage usage (placed on your own domain).

As it can not access third-party domains, we scan your site for the presence of known third-party/tracking scripts, for example from Facebook or Dailymotion.

When Complianz detects scripts from these services it prechecks them in the wizard, under Cookies -> Integrations. If you are certain that you are not using these services, you can disable them, which will prevent Complianz from blocking these scripts and placing the cookies on your Cookie Policy.

When navigating through your site, the only cookie that is placed in my browser is a Complianz cookie. This would indicate that you have set up Complianz correctly.

We would be interested to know why Complianz detects these services on your site. Would you mind sharing a list of used plugins with us via support(at)complianz.io?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kind regards,
    Leon

@tomkelly33 , not sure if this has been asked before, but just to be sure: Are you always doing your scan in a new incognito browser window, and have you cleared previous all cookies within your browser?

Hm, good tip, that seemed to make a difference in the scan. Thanks for the advice! I didn’t incognito mode was compulsory, you should add that note in the wizard’s instructions for all users.
