Hey there, so far the plugin is working fine for me and I installed it on a fresh installation so I won’t have any issues later. So what I’m doing right now is creating pages on my main site and mapping the additional domains with the plugin to them so they become landing pages. My theme uses visual composer and I build several pages with the same content (like a list of articles) that are only displayed differently. What I’m concerned about is punishment by google for duplicate content. Is the plugin taking care of this?

    hy,
you are creating duplicate content with or without using the plugin ??
so no, there is nothing in this plugin that would take care of this.

i guess the easiest thing would be to add canonical-tags to the head section of the pages with any other plugin or in your theme.

Thanks for the reply. I read that yoast seo will add canonical-tags to every post and page by it’s self. So with that my problem would be solved or will your plugin in any way affect yoast?

the plugin works fine with yoast – we did not see or hear about any issues so far.

of course you will have to tell the yoast plugin which pages/posts have similar content and define the canonical url for these: https://yoast.com/rel-canonical/#rel-canonical-yoast-seo

the meta-tags that are generated with this setting will be translated to the correct domain by our plugin. feel free to test it out and leave a positive review ??
