    Hi team!

    I am building my website using Elara theme and I am trying to get rid of the dark overlay that is used on my heading image. I did a research and found some codes that could be inserted in the Additional CSS section – none of them worked for this theme. Could you please help me?

    Thank you,
    Andy

  • Hi Andy,

    Thanks for reaching out about this!

    I checked and can’t seem to get the site in your profile to load for me…could I get a link to the site where you’re having this trouble so I can write some custom CSS for your scenario?

    Thanks again!

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks so much!

    You can add this CSS in Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS, and it should do the trick:
    .frontpage-banner .banner:before { display: none; }

    If you have any trouble with it just let us know! ??
