Dark Mode for Admin Color Scheme (Profile Settings)

  • Please consider adding an Admin Color Scheme (under user profile settings) for “Dark Mode” for those looking to reduce the amount of bright white all over their screens. Dark mode is continuing to become quite the popular feature in many apps and websites as more users adopt the use of it. Honestly surprised that it hasn’t been added already. ??

    Till then you can enable the dark mode in the dashboard using the Dark Mode plugin. It also works very good.

    After activating the plugin, you need to visit Users > Your Profile page and select the box next to the “Dark Mode” option, and you will get the dashboard like this: https://prnt.sc/t0bmro ??

    Yes, but I have also found this plugin not working well with some other plugins like Jetpack.

    Animesh Gaurav, correct. I have tried that one but I spend too much time in the dashboard staring at the stats which causes a visual conflict, turning the page into an eyesore. So I stopped using it for now.
