Dark mode makes images dissapear

The same thing happens when I use the Advanced Slider/Carousel element.

On normal mode it is fine (I can see the images) but when I activate dark mode, the images disappear.

I am using the Royal Elementor Addons plugin.

The dark mode plugin I am using is WP Dark Mode.

Please activate our theme on your site and we will check from the frontend and will try to investigate why this happens on your site.

Thats great but I cannot change my theme as I have been using it for years. Is it not possible to use my current theme and solve this issue ??

Just activate it temporarily and we will inspect it, or create a staging site and share staging site URL and we will check.
