We’re using WP Dark Mode on https://pivot-to-ai.com. We’re finding that the text contrast is just too low in dark mode, using either the gold or sapphire colour themes – we keep getting complaints from readers. The site theme is Blocksy. Is there anything we can do to make the dark mode contrast better?

    Hello @davidgerard,

Our technical team has reviewed the issue and identified that it originates from conflicts with your custom templates. The CSS issue is primarily caused by different themes or builders enforcing specific colors. You can fix this using Custom CSS if you prefer.

I use custom CSS as a part of core WordPress!

To be clear: are you telling me that WP Dark Mode purports to put built-in features of core WordPress behind a paywall? That’s quite a remarkable thing for a plugin to do.
