Darken only certain borders (see img)

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

You will have to set left and right borders individually, like

.tablepress-id-123 thead th {
  border-left: 1px solid #ffffff;
  border-right: 1px solid #ffffff;
}
.tablepress-id-123 tbody td {
  border-left: 1px solid #000000;
  border-right: 1px solid #000000;
}
