Darken the background overlay in Galleries

  • Hi,

    I have created galleries on my site however I would like the background overlay to be darker than what it currently is to black out more of the page itself. How do I edit this element? I am assuming I need custom CSS however I am not an expert in coding so would appreciate any help on this.

    If you click on any of the images you will see the gallery load up with the background overlay in question.
