    This is a beautiful template. It’s exquisitely subtle, which I love, however I need to make it a bit less subtle so that my eyes can see it. I’m a WordPress Newbie and I’ve figured out a lot… including how to change the font color in the header, change the background, align the circles on the Main page, etc., but I can’t figure out how to:
    #1. Change the font color of the Menu/Page listings in the top right corner;
    #2. Change the font colors of the search box, etc., below the circle posts;
    #3. Change the font color of the footer;
    #4. Change the order of the circle posts (without deleting and re-posting in my preferred order that is).
    Please HELP!
    Thank you!

    meaning it is implemented in priority overlay over the SPUN main theme?

    Yeah, it’s the same thing.
    The Custom CSS plugins are great for CSS modifications and Child Themes are great for every modification (including CSS).

    It’s a bit awkward when you decide to create a Child Theme after you have a Custom CSS plugin, but the only issue is that your CSS could be in two places (in the Child Theme style.css file and Custom CSS plugin). You just need to decide where you want to manage your CSS changes.

    Do I need a Child to make sure the changes we’ve made stay in effect when/if the SPUN template is next updated?

    Which changes did you make and where?

    I made exactly and only the changes we’ve discussed here, following all the procedures and using all the code and instructions you’ve presented. Other changes I’d like to make and am not sure where or how to do them (CSS plugin modification or Child Theme style.css), is to delete the WordPress author/Theme line (not to discredit Caroline I love the Theme and have emailed her to tell her so) and also to delete the Meta and Login and Category etc. entries below the +/- and leave only the Search box. I don’t know how to do that. I don’t know whether I need to create a Child Theme style.css sheet or whether I can do it in the CSS Plugin code I already have. I’ve looked through other posts addressing that issue and the ones I’ve found and read all talk about creating Child Themes to do it. They don’t mention how to do it with the CSS Plugin.

    No, the Custom CSS Manager plugin will hold your changes regardless of changes to any theme.

    Could you create new threads (if you haven’t already) to discuss these new queries you have? Thanks.

    Absolutely! Thank you for your help!

    Hi voice4allbeings. I happened to come across your site and have a question for you.
    How did you activate the gif picture of the dog to play on the homepage. I have been trying to activate it moving but it will only do it on the actual blog page.

    THnkas
