• Hi All,

I am building a new WordPress site based on an old theme, on the old site there were two pages artworks and exhibitions which utilized some jQuery and CSS to produce a sliding effect, these pages are still accessible on the new site under there respective url paths.

However I want to use the exact same code, but lose both of the artworks and exhibitions and change them to updates…

On the Dashboard below Pages there are two areas called Artworks and Exhibitions where you can upload content directly to the relevant pages.

I want to lose these replace them with Updates using the exact same code to have the exact same effect.

Is there some way I can configure the dashboard to do this, and then maybe modify the name of a PHP file like archive-exhibitions.php to archive-updates.php to set up the dashboard to updates, then the url path to updates, calling the exact same code that artworks and exhibitions are calling.

I’ve tried looking on the dashboard to do this for a while, but can’t figure it out…….

The code which runs the jQuery/CSS is definately in archive-exhibitions.php

    Thanks

    Ant
