dashboard fail after upgrade

  • had problems with the update(3.8) I had to remove the .maintenace file as the update stalled, when I cleared that it said that it had updated to 3.8 however the dash board just has the frames and text,seems to work ok but obviously something is wrong as my other 2 sites updated flawlessly and the dash board looks great any ideas??

  • Hey Daryl,

    Do you have FTP access to your site? If so, you can download a fresh version of WordPress and manually add the files to your site while overriding the existing. The main thing you will want to do first though is remove the “wp-content” folder and the wp-config.php file from the fresh download before overriding your existing site.
