Dashboard Gone

    I have misplaced my dashboard! No seriously, i have been working all morning on building new site. Suddenly the dashboard is gone and I can’t do a thing. It sends me to page not found or a yahoo search results page. I deleted several plugins to no avail. deleted the index.php file and no result. uploaded index.php file again.

    Any ideas? I am baffled.

    have you tried:

    -switching to the default theme (“twentyten”) for a moment by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes. The idea is to force WordPress to fall back to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific issue.
