    Hi,

I updated the plugin to v.2.2 and in all 4 my websites where I created a custom dashboard with an Elementor template, there is no dashboard visible anymore. Had to revert to v.2.1.3.

I hope you guys can fix this, as it’s a great plugin for me.

    Cheers,
    Tom

Hi guys, no feedback on this one? Am I the only one with this issue?

Here’s a screenshot how my dashboard looks after updating: https://prnt.sc/s5ik18

Kindly export your settings and send it here.

After that, kindly check your dashboard settings re-select your dashboard page then save.

    Hi Jhay,

Thanks for your reply. I have exported the settings, and you can download the file here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m14vz29p43dlfwf/wlcms-settings.json?dl=0

I have checked the settings once again, re-selected the dashboard page and saved, but without any luck. I have also set up a new website yesterday and installed the latest version on the plugin. Also here I didn’t get to see the elementor template as my dashboard, so I had to install version 2.1.3 to get it fixed for now.

    Cheers,
    Tom

    SOLVED:
All the dashboard panels are hidden by default in the last update, even for administrator.

Same issue here, blank dashboard. I have disabled the plugin to confirm that this is the cause.

I need all dashboard panels to be hidden, that’s why I activated ‘Add Your Own Welcome Panel’ and selected the Elementor template, which doesn’t show up anymore.

    Hello Tom

Sorry, but I still have not replicated this issue on my end.

Kindly check your browser console if there is a javascript error.

Thanks for helping us trace this issue.

    Hi Jhay,

Hmmm okay I see, I hope we can figure out why I am having this issue on different WP installs.

There are 2 warnings I get to see in Chrome Console, but I also see those with version 2.1.3 where the dashboard is showing up perfectly:

DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom/include.preload.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME
DevTools failed to load SourceMap: Could not load content for chrome-extension://gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom/include.postload.js.map: HTTP error: status code 404, net::ERR_UNKNOWN_URL_SCHEME

Today I’ll also try to deactivate some plugins to see if they are interfering with White Label CMS.

    Cheers,
    Tom

    Okay here’s an update:

I found out the problem is being caused by another plugin: Webcraftic Disable Admin Notices Individually

Suddenly it sees the custom dashboard as an admin notification which is blocked with all the other notifications about updates and premium upgrade messages and so on. This didn’t happen before, so I don’t know why this happens now.

I hope to keep the plugin, as it really blocks all those annoying messages. The option to remove nag messages in WLCMS doesn’t seem to hide any nag messages for me, that’s why I am using the other plugin.

Does this help in any way to fix something?

    Cheers,
    Tom

    Hello Tom,

I created a new version as a possible fix for this issue, I hope you can try on your development site. You can download it here https://d.pr/f/UW8RNV

    Hi Jhay,

Thanks for the effort. I installed the plugin v2.2.1 you provided, checked all settings and saved again. Unfortunately without any change. Still the same after I deactivate ‘Webcraftic Disable Admin Notices Individually’, then the custom dashboard shows up.

    Cheers,
    Tom

    Hello Tom,

WLCMS is using Admin Notice hook to display the custom dashboard and to fix it I adjusted it on our side, and it will be available on the next release.

For the meantime, if you like to try, you can download the fixed version here https://d.pr/f/jNnvO2.

    Hi Jhay,

I have just downloaded and tested the fixed plugin on one of my test websites and it seems to work like a charm.

Thank you so much for providing your time to fix this issue. I’ll make sure to leave a good review.

    Thanks again!

    Cheers,
    Tom

We have this problem to. Plugin active, dashboard panels are gone. I tried downloading the fix above and it didnt work. Whats interesting is I reset the plugin at the bottom of settings and then put everything in again. This did bring the panels back, but all the other panels sit inside the <div of the welcome panel from this plugin. Its like its missing a closing tag or something.

Hmm that seems to be a different issue. In my case it was really the ‘Webcraftic Disable Admin Notices Individually’ plugin that saw the custom dashboard as a notification and thus removing it completely.

It’s probably better that you start a new topic here to get help.

    Cheers,
    Tom
