• Any ideas why my WordPress dashboard would be looking like this: https://brainoplasty.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/error2.png?

Also, intermittently when I try to view posts/log-in/upload media/update a post it’ll crap out and give me Chrome’s standard “no data received” you’ve-gone-absolutely-nowhere page.

I called GoDaddy, where I’m hosting it, and they basically shrugged and said ‘best of luck with that.’

I downloaded the error logs, but they’re not very helpful.

  • Have you tried clearing your cache and cookies? Do you get this on other browsers?

Have you tried deactivating ALL plugins and using the twentytwelve theme to see if it may be related to plugins or your theme?

Intermittent problems are often server issues…GD doesn’t have the greatest reputation in that regard.

First do a manual update of WordPress core files using an FTP client such as FileZilla or your host provided file management tool(s). This requires you delete the two folders wp-admin and wp-includes only and upload unedited fresh ones from a current download of WP3.5.2. Test site.

If not: rename the plugins folder in wp-content to old-plugins. Test Site.

If not: rename all theme folders in wp-content/themes to old-theme_folder_name and upload an unedited default theme. Test site.

Each step will tell you where the issue likely is.
