• I upgraded to 2.84 from 2.83. Now my dashboard has a blank screen. in internet explorer it says it’s a http 500 internal server error. I tried to do the following. I can login but because there is an error it’s a bnka screen. I can get to the administration screen by clicking edit on one of the posts. I tried to correct the issue by the following:

    1. renamed the plugins folder. <did not resolve the issue>
    2. disabled all the plugins. <did not resolve the issue>
    3. deleted the wp-admin folder and reuploaded. <did not resolve the issue>
    4. tried to remove the empty space in numerous files. <did not resolve the issue>
    5. changed permalinks. <did nothing>

I’m kinda lost. my php.ini limit is 128mb and I’ve searched and done everything listed on an internet search. what more can i do to resolve this issue?

  • I am having the same problem and can’t figure it out…any help?

Ok, the one thing I did extra from above was out of frustration I did a complete manual reinstall and now everything seems to be working fine. I logged out and back in to make sure and it looks ok…
