• Resolved tmweb

    (@tmweb)

Hi, I just updated some plugins on an older website. The plugins updated fine.

However, now it allows me to log into wp-admin but the entire dashboard is blank.

    How do I fix this?

This means that PHP is crashing, typically due to a function conflict introduced by a plugin or theme.

Try manually resetting your plugins (no Dashboard access required). If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Thanks for the help, James.

This happened after I updated 6 plugins that hadn’t been updated in a while, so there may be a plugin conflict.

Will try what you suggested with resetting the plugins and theme.

James Huff @macmanx. Thanks so much for your help.

Manually resetting the plugins helped bring the dashboard up again. Was able to locate the plugin that was causing the issue- It was the All In One SEO pack.

    Thanks again.
