Dashboard Is Broken

The dashboard of my wordpress blog, that I’m building for my gaming group, is semi-broken.
The large “welcome” box can’t be dismissed by clicking the dismiss or by using the screen options. As I said, I’ve also tried to use the “screen options” drop-down menu and have unselected that welcome box and it still doesn’t disappear.
I’m not sure what’s going on with this, and while it isn’t a major thing I can’t seem to fix it and was curious how I would go about fixing this?
