Dashboard links gone from web page

  • I tried to update to 3.8 I think but not sure if it worked but when I tried to edit my site today, there were no links to the dashboard. They’re usually at the top left beside the page itself.

    Is there any other way to get into the admin part of the site without using those links? I desperately need to get working on it.I hope it doesn’t take too long to get some help on this.

    shows a security authorization screen which isn’t part of WP? Have you checked with your hosting company if you’re not familiar with it?

    Thank-you so much. I do not understand a word of the message you wrote above but I clicked the link and it got me into my site, which looks different now the colours have all changed in there. (Must change them back and hope I can get it to how it was before.)
    Can I just go ahead now? I suppose I should save this link you sent in case this happens again?
