Dashboard – Login & Admin Panel

  • I loaded WP on my hosted site and everything appears to running properly, I’ve even been able to load and change the theme that appears on my website, very incredible. However, when I enter the Site Admin I lose the WP theme and its wonderful features. It appears to be a html file without any style. I have created a pdf file showing what I see for both the login and the admin panel.

    Any help with this issue will be greatly appreciated! I amazed with all this wonderful technology and look forward to getting this minor bug worked out so I can play with the rest of the WP users!

  • Your admin section is not finding the admin CSS file. For starters, upload all the WP files to your server again, in case some of them didn’t get transferred the first time. As long as your installed theme is not the default or classic themes, none of your themes or files will be overwritten from doing this.

    Check with the different browser as well as after changing the theme to default to rules out theme level problem.
