• I installed wordpress on a server and everything seems to be fine. My only problem is that when I go into the admin dashboard everything looks unformatted. Here is a screenshot of what I mean.

The login page where you put your user name and password looks normal, and if you actually look at the blog it looks normal too. The only page that doesn’t work right is the dashboard. It still functions but just looks awful!

  • Try re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders.

    I’m having the same issue, re-uploading wp-admin and wp-includes hasn’t helped anything.

evidently the admin style sheet isn’t loading, isn’t there or has permission issues

Would the style sheet that controls the dashboard be dashboard.css? It’s definitely there, and has the path /wordpress/wp-admin/css/dashboard.css.
The file permissions are set to 755. Everything was working fine on the local install, I didn’t have this problem until I moved it. I’m wondering if maybe it’s a problem with my host rather than the install itself.
