Dashboard Looks Unusual After Update

  • The WP Dashboard doesn’t look right or function properly since the WP Update.

    I can not add or edit posts, update plugins, or do much of anything with my WP site.

    The dashboard only displays text links to settings ect. It looks and behaves very strange.

    My WP site functions but I can not update or add anything.

    Strange this is that some functions do work. But the dashboard looks very rudimentary. If I click on the “add new post” text link it does direct me to the normal user interface and I can add a new post. But if I go to the dashboard everything looks terrible. The user interface is not there, only text links.

    Actually, I can add new posts, but they do not show up in the post feed, yet they can be accessed by a direct link, but like I said the new post does not show up in the blog post feed; Strange?
