• I have 3 wordpress blogs…..2 are self-hosted, one is a free WP blog. On 2 of the 3, the dashboard looks fine. On my main one which is a self-hosted (if that matters) the dashboard looks kinda like a mobile version of the page. There’s a lot I can’t do, it looks like just plain ass html code, no css styling. A lot of things aren’t working.

Any ideas on what’s up with it? I tried it from another browser, no change.

  • Yes, I have a similar problem, maybe related.

I have one website which is a free WP blog and another which is self-hosted.

On the WP blog, I get to see the dark grey band at the top all the time so I can easily go to the Dashboard.

On the self-hosted one, there is no dark grey band. How do I easily get back to the dashboard?

I am having the same problem. Not sure what the remedy is. This post has been here for 1 month. Is there anyone who can help? Please.

Ditto, I’ve got the same issue! I can only do specific things and it’s really hard to maneuver!

There are a few normal culprits…

One is theme-switch to default (if you can’t do that from in the admin due to the issue, use ftp to rename your current theme temporarily, that’ll switch you to default)

Deactivate plugins-again, if you can’t from admin area, use ftp and rename your plugin folder temporarily

And finally, the big one. A frequent symptom of a hacked blog is a jacked up admin area

    Hi,

Need some help. We have a basic WP site with a theme, nothing fancy. Suddenly our site looks almost mobile, no graphics just text and grey and white. I have a screen shot if you want to see it. I loaded it to my public drop box folder.

We have not upgraded the theme as we have some customized functions so it was not an upgrade.

We have renamed all plugins 1 by 1 with no change.

    Any advise??
