• Hi guys!

I have a major problem with my website.
After I login in my dashboard, I cannot see it. I can only see that I’m logged in with my username and when I click on the dashboard’s icon, it redirects me to the website.
I should mention that I tried everything: renaming all plugins, changing theme, debugging.. etc
Here’s a small video to see what exactly I mean.. :

  • Does the theme you are using have a custom function in the functions.php file that would redirect users for some reason?

What is the role of the user you are trying to login with? Maybe it is not admin and is being treated as a regular user?

Maybe check to see if your htaccess file is corrupted?

Have you tried clearing all cookies in your browser?

Is it possible the site url was changed somehow by mistake in settings/config?

    Good luck.

    Hi @ckbrewer15!
    Thanks for the quick reply!

I cleared the browser’s cookies, the user is an admin, cleared all caches…

No modifications were made to the website for a long time.. It just happened over night.

I was on the phone with my hosting and they told me that the website functions are consuming a lot of resources, touching the limits of the hosting plan.. But that I don’t understand, as I have an unlimited, all inclusive plan…
They propose another plan, dedicated for wordpress. The thing, as I mentioned above, the website was working perfectly, until yesterday…
    What do you think?
    Thanks!

Without providing a link to the troublesome site it’s very hard to properly diagnose the issue, you would only be getting guesses.

Even though your hosting plan is unlimited as far a space and bandwidth, there would be a limit on other resources like processing.

If everything was fine one day, then isn’t the next, I would look into a hack as the culprit.

Again, without a working link, it’s very hard to properly diagnose.
